SOAR -  7th graders, please finishing filling in positive, encouraging words about your fellow classmates to be used for SOAR awards this year.  Due Friday, in Google Classroom, 7th Grade Home Room.

Christian Studies: Memory Test on Friday. Today we had buddies and also looked at more of the information available in our planners.

 Math 3: HW 1.2 #22-36 evens  Note: A post on Google Classroom, Math 3 shares the username and password to access the textbook online.


 Science: We finished some notes on the types of catastrophic events.

• HW: on Google classroom - Read "How Scientists Study the Earth" (pgs. 6-7). Select one type of scientist from the reading and make a list of interview questions (at least 5) that you might ask to find out more about this profession.
• Bring in 2 liter bottles with screw top lids.  They need to be washed out with labels removed.  We will need 12 total.  We have 4 (Thank you!!!) and need 8 more as soon as possible!

Upcoming Events:

• Ice Cream Social Thursday, Sept. 14th 6-7:00pm You can come visit your child’s classrooms and see what they have been doing and talk with the teachers. At 6:30pm, head out to the playground and enjoy a bowl of ice cream served up by members of our School Board. We hope to see you there!
• MAP Testing - 7th grade will do their tests next week on Wednesday, 9/20 and Friday, 9/21.  Please help you student to make sure to get plenty of rest the night before and eat a well balanced breakfast the day of the testing to help them perform at their best.  Thank you!
