Christian Studies: Memory test today.  They did a great job singing the books of the Old Testament!  We talked about wandering and being lost and how that can mean more than just physically wandering.  You could ask your student what were some of the ways we discussed that they could help someone who is wandering or lost.

Christian Studies: Memory Test Friday (tomorrow).  We talked about how to challengers and how to overcome them in witnessing to people who are prepared, unaware, or just don't care about Christ's return.

 Math 3:  Skills practice continued.  Battleship two ways - percents and converting them to fractions and decimals, and coordinate plane battleship.  Percent battleship problems due at the start of class tomorrow.

 Science: Hurricane update.  We continue to look at various weather websites and track what is happening with the 3 hurricanes currently being tracked in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.  I also introduced the students to a new tool for research, Diigo.  Ask your student to show it to you on their chromebook.  It is like Pinterest for research!

Christian Studies - We had 2nd grade Buddies today and continued working on Lesson 51.


 Math 3 - HW:Textbook Scavenger hunt, due tomorrow.  Battleship with multiplying decimals, have problems completed for tomorrow.  Eighth graders, have them done to turn in Monday.


 Science - We made a quick check in on hurricane Irma, then brainstormed extreme weather, and began our Natural Catastrophic Events Concept Webs.
