In Science, we have started a new unit on the solar system.  Ask your student to explain the concept of using parallax to calculate distances to stars!

In Algebra, we are continuing to work with equations and should have a test coming up early next week.

In Google Classroom, I have started to use color coding to help students know what to focus on, with colored circles at the start of the assignment titles. Hopefully this is helpful!

Here is the color coding key:

🟢 Complete and turn in (may be on time or late, check due date), in person check or on ThinkCentral

🟢🔵Turn in HERE in Google Classroom! AND can still be turned in

🔴 Graded, past time for late work, can no longer be submitted, turned in, or checked in person

🟡 Materials or answers to check, nothing to turn in (either online, in person, or on ThinkCentral)
