Christian Studies: Memory test tomorrow.  Chapel and Indoor Olympics meeting today.

 Math 3: Finished Pythagorean Theorem activity.  If you didn't finish in class, then it is homework, due tomorrow.  We began notes on the distance formula, but no new homework on that yet.  Quiz over Pythagorean Theorem and the distance formula on Friday.

 Science: Finished Inquiry 12.3 on finding earthquake epicenters and had some work time.
HW: 1) Reflections pg. 151 #2, 2) Read "Canines to the Rescue" pgs. 152-153 and take notes.
Quiz over Lessons 10-12 Friday.

Christian Studies: Buddies today.  We also were able to try out our new "flexible seating" options we now have thanks to the Fall Fest fundraising!

 Math 3: Pythagorean Theorem "Whoddunnit."  HW:  Come to class with only 3-4 "clues" left to solve.

 Science: We finished notes on Lesson 12 and began Inquiry 12.3 Locating the Epicenter of an Earthquake.

Christian Studies: Memory test on Friday. This is the monthly memory so will be spoken for your test.  Today in class we finished Unit 6 talking some more about physical blindness versus spiritual blindness, and had a quiz over Unit 6.

 Math 3: Began looking at the Pythagorean Theorem.  HW: 4-8 pg. 202 # 9, 10, 13, 14.  There will be a quiz on Friday over Pythagorean Theorem and the distance formula that we are covering this week.

 Science: Notes on Lesson 12.  There will be a quiz on Friday over Lessons 10-12.  No study guide (yet), but expect all the vocabulary to be on the quiz.

Christian Studies:  Memory test today.  We read about Jesus healing a blind man from John 9.

 Math 3: Chapter 4 test.  No homework.

 Science: We completed Inquiry 12.2 in class today by reading a seismogram of the most violent earthquake recorded. 
HW: Reflections, pg.145 #1 and #2.  Answers need to be written using complete sentences in your science notebook.

Christian Studies:  Memory test tomorrow.  Music practice today.  Nativity crossword puzzle is due tomorrow.

 Math 3: Chapter 4 test tomorrow.  All resubmitted homework from chapter 4 due tomorrow.  Today was the second work days to finish the review assignments.
HW: 1) RTGO pg. 208 #1-16
          2) Study Guide Review pg. 213 #27-51, every third (27, 30, 33...)
          3) Chapter Test (Review) #1-39 all

 Science: We finished Inquiry  using the seismograph model today. 
HW:  Finish Reflections pg.  #1-2 (all parts) in science notebook and read pg. 143, The Alaska Earthquake of 1964.

Marimba Band Assembly tomorrow at 1pm.  Parents may come join us!

          3) Chapter Test (Review) #1-39 all

 Science:  We began Lesson 12 and Inquiry 12.1 and used a seismograph model. No homework tonight.

Christian Studies: Memory test today.  In class we talked about Jesus responding to the Pharisees.

 Math 3:  Finished notes on 4-5, brief notes for 4-6.  HW: 4-5 Practice WS B, 4-6 Practice WS B (with modified directions)

 Science: We continued studying how earthquake waves move through looking at the movement of a spring.  HW: finish in science notebook Reflection, pg. 127, #1, A + B, #2 A, and answer the question: What waves are more destructive to buildings? (see figure 11.8)
