 6th Science: In class, we began 2 labs: Exploring Microscopes and Microscopic Exploration of Cells.  We will continue to work on those labs in class tomorrow.  We will go over the homework given Monday on either Wednesday or Thursday.

 7th Science: In class today, we continued to work on the INB Cell Timeline and began the lab Exploration of Microscopes, which we will continue tomorrow.  Quiz Wednesday.  Know (and be able to write) the three parts of cell theory, the scientists mentioned in the book on pages 8-9, and the types of microscopes from the Discovery of Cells notes page in your notebook.

 8th Science:  In class, we went over the Summary, Review, and Vocab for lesson 1.  We also did pages 18-19, and the beginning of Lesson 2 on pg. 21.  Homework (due Monday): read, highlight, and answer questions on pages 22-25 in your book.  We will do a whole class lab on Thursday (and possibly assign additional homework).

1. Read and highlight pgs. 10-11.
2. Answer the questions on the Visual Summary on page 12
3. Quiz Corrections: On a separate piece of paper, write your correction.  For multiple choice, write the question, answer, and what page # and paragraph you found it on in your textbook.  For any points in cell theory, write all 3 parts of cell theory. 

 7th Science: Due Monday (from Tuesday)

• Read, highlight, and answer questions on pages 10-11
• Fill in the notes page "Discovery of Cells" in your notebook
• pg. 5 #4, on the "my notes" page of your textbook (after the review), draw and label pictures of prokaryotes and eukaryotes with your vocabulary words

 8th Science: Read, highlight, and answer questions on pages 14-15.  Yes, the math ones too, but you may use a calculator!

 Algebra: 1-5 #2-22 all, 51, 66-71 all.  There will be a mid-chapter quiz on Monday, and some work time tomorrow to ask questions on 1-5 as there wasn't work time in class today.

 6th Science: 

• If not completed in class, finish the Discovery of Cells Timeline in your notebook
• Complete the top portion of the Discovery of Cells notes in your notebook 
• Quiz tomorrow: know the cell theory, different kind of microscopes (see the notes in your notebook), and the scientist on your timeline that we have talked about with the reading in your textbook (you don't need to know all of them at this time)

 8th Science: In class today we did a lab on mass and weight.  Come to class with the graph completed and you will have time to discuss the final question with your group.  You will turn in your lab and graph tomorrow, and I will be checking Tuesday's homework.

7th History: Student continued to learn about text structures in non-fiction, focusing on compare and contrast.
