Christian Studies: Memory Test Thursday (or Friday).  This is the monthly verse, I Corinthians 12:7, so it will be spoken.  Workbook check over unit 8 at the end of the week.

 Algebra: We did some additional practice multiplying polynomials using the box method, and the20 - 9 challenge (homework if not done...but I think they all completed it in class).  Ask your student what they had to figure out for this!

 6th and 7th Science: We watched most of the film "Expedition Everest" and they identified 5 things they knew and 5 facts or pieces of information that were new to them while watching.  We will finish the video tomorrow.

 8th Science: We looked at a Scholastic Science News magazine in class today.  After a chance to explore a little, we focused on an article on severe weather.  They had a two sided worksheet to complete as homework if they did not finish it in class.  The article will be posted on GC if they need to refer to it.

 Homeroom: Update your planner every day!  Remember to complete 10 minutes of typing club by Sunday for full credit.

 Upcoming Events:

Friday is a half day in honor of Black Friday.  Easter is next Sunday! 

No school next week for spring break April 5th - 9th.
